
Biography
Catherine Ballantyne (she/her) is a Brazilian-American performer, actor, singer, and dancer working in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Redmond, Washington she graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BFA in Acting as well as a degree in Film and Media Studies.

Upcoming releases include the short films Heartlines and Trigger Sad. In February she will perform with VOPA in Oklahoma as Vivian and a Featured Dancer. She is set later in the year to perform with the Nocturne Theater in their production of Shrek. She recently filmed her first Vertical Short Form which will debut on shortMax.

Recently, Catherine made her audio fiction debut in Advice After Dark and Inspired By. She debuted at the Hollywood Fringe Festival as #7 in The Wolves. She performed at the Whitmore Lindley in The Children's Hour. She was in Harvey as Myrtle Mae with The West Valley Playhouse. In 2023, she was in Macbeth with the Prague Shakespeare Company and played Nina in A Day in Hollywood/A Night in Ukraine with Renton Civic Theater. Other selected theater credits include; Rona Lisa Perretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Teresa Manning in Spectral Frequencies, Irina Nikolayevna Arkadina in Seagull, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, as well as acting in Launchpad's Alone, Together Festival, Particle Collider etc.
